for assisting fellow Cause Marketing and Corporate and Foundation
Relations team members to achieve team goals by providing general
support in various areas and contributing to the overall success of both
teams by actively communicating with all members on a regular basis.
Principle duties include:
? Coordinating meetings, processing expense reports, making
copies, distributing mail, making travel arrangements and providing
other general office assistance where needed.
? Participating in ad hoc committees and/or brainstorming
sessions
? Updating and maintaining contact information in Raisers Edge
database.
? Assisting Director with monthly budget reconciliation processes,
and tracking departmental expenses and revenue.
Qualifications:
? College degree.
? Two years administrative office experience.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet research.
? Candidate must be comfortable communicating with team members.
? Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and
handle multiple tasks.
? Strong grammar and writing skills.

We seek a dynamic and dedicated individual to work as a Senior Staff
Assistant in the Strategic Communications Department. This person will
be responsible for performing general office functions for the Vice
President, Strategic Communications; coordinating and scheduling
appointments and conference calls; and coordinating meeting logistics
and projects to accomplish the objectives of the department. This
person will also serve as the initial point of departmental contact for
the media, NWF members and the general public; assist the department
staff in media and marketing projects; manage the logistics and drafting
of written materials for NWF’s conservation awards; and manage the
department’s budget and its contracts.
Qualified candidates must have:
? Bachelor’s degree.
? 5 years administrative experience (preferable in a public
relations/public affairs or media environment).
? Database management expertise required.
? Excellent command of written and spoken English and extremely
strong editing and proofreading skills.
? Substantial experience using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
? Must be highly organized and able to maintain order in a rapidly
changing environment.

The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) seeks an effective, dynamic
leader to work with the National Outreach Director and NWF’s
ActionTeam to lead grassroots campaigns in support of NWF’s issue
agenda. The successful candidate will have strong communication,
leadership, team building, and project management skills. This person
is part of a highly engaged team of staff working in campaign mode to
push the envelope on grassroots engagement.
Responsibilities include:
? Working with outreach, program, and field staff to design and
implement strategic advocacy campaigns.
? Working with NWF’s key constituencies with emphasis placed on
hunters and anglers and other nontraditional constituencies.
? Working with all types of grassroots tactics including:
grassroots and grasstops engagement, earned and paid media, coalition
building, local and national lobbying, and on the ground and online
communication tools.
? Engaging activist and volunteers in advocacy and lobby
campaigns.
? Managing organizers, contractors, volunteers, and interns.
? Coordinating and communicating NWF’s issue agenda to the
field, NWF affiliates, and regional staff.
? Coordinating and conducting grassroots workshops.
Relevant Qualification and Experience:
? Minimum five years of successful job experience in political
campaigns or nonprofit advocacy organizations required.
? Attention to detail and ability to multitask required
? Strong written and oral communication skills required
? Facility with all aspects of Microsoft Office required.
? Experience managing staff, interns, or volunteers required
? Experience working with volunteer leadership preferred
? Experience with environmental advocacy and environmental issues
preferred.
